Home Areas We Service Florida Porta Potty Rental Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312

At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the Broward County cities packed in around it. High-rise and townhome construction, seawall and dock repairs, beach festivals, boat show week, block parties along the New River, and every sort of waterfront event keep portable toilets in demand here.
Your cost depends on which units you choose, how many go out, how long they stay, and how often a service truck stops by. What follows covers ranges, how to size your order, the City and County rules you will meet, and how to get units on site quickly.
Each range assumes a standard three-day rental. That is the window a weekend event books, so a Saturday-only party and a full Friday through Sunday run land close together. Construction work is quoted the other way, in four-week cycles with a cleaning visit inside each one.
Downtown access is the local wrinkle. A tight infill lot off Andrews Avenue, a gated waterfront property, or a job with a narrow alley approach all take the driver longer than an open suburban lot in the western neighborhoods. Tell us about clearance, gates, and parking restrictions early and the price holds steady.
Weather moves the number too. South Florida humidity works on a tank all year, not just in summer, so heavily used units may want two visits a week. During hurricane season, orders can surge with little notice.
Finally, the extras. Accessible units for a public event, sinks beside food booths, and a trailer for a wedding on the water all change the total. Your account manager will explain what each one adds before you sign off.

Request a Quote NowStart with headcount and hours. Here is how we plan an order:
Florida layers its own building-site numbers on top. The state onsite sewage rules put 1 restroom on a site with up to 10 people, 2 where 11 to 20 work, and one more unit for every additional 10 people once the count passes 50, all on weekly service. Sizing to that table keeps a Broward job clear on both counts.
The City also wants to see your restrooms on paper. Every special event application here includes a site plan and narrative that shows stages, restrooms, fencing, and tents, so the unit count is settled before approval.
Run the numbers yourself with our porta potty calculator, then have your account manager confirm the final mix.

Choose by the people using it. All the models sit side by side on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty is the workhorse: a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and sanitizer. It covers framing crews, dock work, and small backyard gatherings.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is wider, with a level entry, a broad door, grab bars, and turning space inside. Include one whenever the public shows up.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flushing bowl and better odor control, the step up most wedding and corporate planners want.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink carries the sink, soap, and mirror inside the unit, which keeps queues moving at a busy reception.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its own light and fan. On a shoreline restoration job or a park site with no drop, that independence pays for itself.
The Handwashing Station is a standalone sink with fresh water, soap, and towels. Set one by every food booth.
The Restroom Trailer brings multiple stalls, running water, and air conditioning, which guests appreciate at any Fort Lauderdale event held outdoors.
Not sure how to combine them? Walk your account manager through the guest list or crew size and they will put the order together.
Sitting a unit on private property, such as a driveway, a fenced construction site, or a private yard, does not call for a City permit here.
Events: The City wants the special event application and its plans emailed 60 days before your date. File later and the fee climbs, and anything inside 30 days is turned down unless the City Manager signs off. There is one rule that catches people out: all toilets have to be off the site within 24 hours of the event ending. Build that into your pickup plan.
Who regulates the units: The City's own application points to Broward County for portable toilets. The County's Waste Regulation Program also licenses and inspects the transporters who haul this waste inside the county.
Outdoor event permits: These now go in electronically. For help, call Parks and Recreation at 954-828-4349 or 954-828-5348, or use the City's outdoor events line at 954-828-6075.
State roads: Several major routes through the city belong to the state, and work in that right-of-way runs through the Florida Department of Transportation. District Four covers Broward County from its office on West Commercial Boulevard at 866-336-8435.
Food vendors: The state health contact has to hear from you 10 days ahead, and Fire Rescue inspects every food vendor before serving starts. Each booth needs its own handwashing setup.
If you cannot tell who controls your spot, your account manager can track down the right office.

A good spot makes the whole rental easier.
Put units on firm, level ground with a straight truck approach. Sandy fill near the beach and soft ground beside a canal can both shift after rain, so pick the most solid surface available. Watch for low balconies, tight garage entries, and parked cars in narrow streets.
Keep units at least 15 feet from any food service and well back from canals, the Intracoastal, seawalls, and storm drains. On a job site, place them within about 200 feet of the work.
Florida sets the cleaning floor rather than leaving it to habit. A rented unit is serviced at least weekly, event units get daily attention, and every unit carries the servicing company name and phone on it. Our standard rental includes that weekly visit, and we can add more.
What comes out of the tank leaves the neighborhood under license. Florida requires the service company to hold an annual permit for the county where it keeps its yard, and the waste must go to a state-approved septage treatment and disposal facility. That is a separate path from ordinary household sewage, which flows to the City's George T. Lohmeyer plant, a 10-acre facility rated at 55.7 million gallons a day with five deep disposal wells about a mile away. Your account manager can lock in your service days and talk through placement.

Most orders here go out within 24 to 48 hours, and three to five days of notice is comfortable. The calendar is the real constraint. Boat show week, spring break, holiday weekends, and the winter wedding season all pull on the same fleet, so reserve those months ahead. Remember the City wants event paperwork 60 days out, which usually sets your booking date anyway.
Five habits that keep delivery on track:

A standard unit averages $199–$349 and an accessible unit $200–$300. Deluxe flushing and sink units run $300–$400, solar units $500–$600, handwashing stations $150–$250, and restroom trailers begin at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, and service schedule shape the total. Your account manager quotes it for free.
Figure 1 unit per 50 guests for a four-hour event, plus 15 to 20 percent when alcohol is served. A 250-guest beachfront reception usually needs six units or a trailer. Add a handwashing station by any food, and include at least one accessible unit for events open to the public.
The federal count applies in Florida: 1 toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then 1 toilet and 1 urinal per 40 workers. Florida's own building-site table is tighter, beginning with 1 restroom for up to 10 people. Order to the state table and your Broward job satisfies both rules comfortably.
Weekly service is the standard and also Florida's legal floor. The driver pumps the tank, cleans the interior, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Event units must be serviced daily under state rules. Humid stretches and large crews often justify a second weekly visit, which your account manager can schedule up front.
Usually not. A unit on your own driveway, yard, or fenced construction site in Fort Lauderdale needs no City permit. Permission is required once it sits on a City street, a sidewalk, public property, or forms part of a permitted event. Your account manager will help you confirm before delivery.
A standard unit is compact and serves one person at a time. An accessible unit is larger, with a flat entry, a wide door, grab bars, and enough floor space to turn a wheelchair. Public events should include one per cluster of units. Sites used only by a construction crew are exempt.
Weekend event bookings are priced across three days, so a one-day party costs close to a full weekend. Standard units average $199–$349 and deluxe flushing units $300–$400. Delivery, pickup within 24 hours of the event, and any added service visit go on top. Your account manager confirms the total.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will size the order, set a service rhythm that matches your busiest days, and give you a clear number on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
