Home Areas We Service Connecticut Porta Potty Rental Bridgeport, Connecticut 06606

At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Bridgeport, Connecticut, and the Fairfield County towns around it. Construction and rehab work on the city's older housing stock, waterfront and industrial projects, road crews, block parties, school and church events, and park festivals all keep portable toilets busy here from spring through late fall.
Your price follows four things: which units you pick, how many you need, how long you keep them, and how often a truck comes to clean them. Below, you'll find the ranges we quote in Bridgeport, how to size an order, what the City expects before an event, and how quickly we can deliver.
Every range above is built on a standard three-day rental. A Saturday festival and a Friday-to-Sunday setup usually come to the same figure, so there's rarely a reason to squeeze your dates.
City work is priced differently. A gut rehab on the East Side or a long utility job downtown normally runs in four-week cycles with a weekly cleaning visit folded into the rate.
Access is a real factor in Bridgeport. Narrow streets, resident parking, and tight alleys mean our driver needs a reachable spot with room to work. A unit that has to be carried past parked cars costs more to service than one on an open lot.
The rest is the mix. Accessible units, sink units, handwashing stations, and restroom trailers each have their own rate, and a second weekly visit is worth budgeting for a heavy summer site. Your account manager can lay all of it out before you commit.

Request a Quote NowBegin with people and hours. These are the counts we build from:
One local point matters more than most. Bridgeport's park event rules state plainly that the City does not supply portable toilets, so anything your event needs is on you to bring. Parks also send any gathering over 50 people to the Board of Park Commissioners, so have your restroom count ready when you apply.
Start with our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager fine-tune the order.

Each unit suits a different crowd. You can compare them side by side on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty covers most jobs: demolition and framing crews, roofers, paving work, and backyard gatherings. It has a toilet, a urinal, a paper holder, and hand sanitizer.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty has a wide door, ground-level entry, grab bars, and turning space for a wheelchair. Any event the public can attend should have one.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty adds a flushing bowl and better odor control, a noticeable step up at a wedding or a graduation party.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink puts a sink, soap, and a mirror inside the unit, which guests appreciate when food is being served.
The Solar Porta Potty runs its light and fan on solar power, useful on a shoreline site or a lot with no power yet.
The Handwashing Station is a stand-alone sink with clean water, soap, and towels. Place one at every food station.
The Restroom Trailer offers separate stalls, running water, and climate control for weddings, company events, and long projects.
Describe your crowd or crew to your account manager and they'll put the right combination together.
A unit on private ground, like a driveway, a back yard, or a fenced job site, does not need a City permit. Public ground and public events are where the paperwork starts.
Events on City property or in parks: Every event on public property or in a City park needs a City permit, whether it's free or ticketed, open or invitation only. The City asks for your request at least 30 days out because several departments review it. Park events go to the Board of Park Commissioners, which meets the second Tuesday of each month, and public events on City property need a certificate of liability insurance.
Parks applications: The park event application is emailed to Parks, and anything over 50 people needs Commissioners approval. The form is clear that the City does not provide units, so put your rental in the plan from the start.
Streets and sidewalks: A special event and occupancy permit.pdf) is filed at least two weeks out and no more than a month ahead, with a traffic control plan. The Health Department, Zoning, Parking Enforcement, and Public Facilities all sign before it's issued, and the form asks directly whether you'll use a sidewalk, street, or park.
Food vendors: If food is prepared or sold, you need a Health Department license, and the City asks organizers to call the Health Department at 203-576-7680 between 9 am and 4 pm on weekdays. A handwashing station beside the food area is the easy part of that conversation.
If you're not sure whose approval you need, your account manager can help you track down the right office.

Choose ground that's firm and level, and give the service truck a straight shot to it. On a narrow city street, that often means reserving a parking space for the drop and the pickup.
Keep units at least 15 feet from any food service, and away from catch basins and storm drains. On a job site, put them within about 200 feet of the crew. At an event, split them into small groups instead of one long row so lines move.
A standard rental includes one cleaning visit a week. The driver pumps the tank, washes and sanitizes the inside, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Busy sites and long events often go to two visits.
Connecticut is careful about the waste side. The state licenses the cleaners who pump this kind of tank, and your local health director is the permitting authority for smaller on-site sewage systems, which is why the city health office is a good first call on any sanitation question. Bridgeport's own Water Pollution Control Authority runs two treatment plants and the sewer system from Seaview Avenue, and you can reach it at 203-332-5550. Your account manager can confirm your service days and the pickup date.

Most Bridgeport orders are delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Three to five days of notice helps us match the right units to your site, and summer weekends should be booked several weeks ahead.
Five things that keep delivery simple:
Prime Dumpster delivers porta potties throughout Bridgeport and the towns around it, including Stratford, Trumbull, Fairfield, Easton, Monroe, Shelton, and Milford. Whether the job is a three-family rehab on the North End, a contractor's site near the harbor, or a fundraiser at a neighborhood park, we plan delivery, cleaning, and pickup around your dates.

A standard porta potty averages $199–$349 per unit, and an accessible unit averages $200–$300. Deluxe models run $300–$400, and a restroom trailer starts at $1,500. What you actually pay turns on unit count, rental length, and cleaning visits. Your account manager confirms the number in your free quote.
Plan 1 unit per 50 guests at a four-hour event, and add 15 to 20 percent more when alcohol is served. A 100-guest block party needs two or three units plus a handwashing station near the food. Remember that Bridgeport does not supply units for park events, so bring your own.
The federal table governs Connecticut job sites. Twenty workers or fewer need one facility. Above 20, plan on one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers, and past 200 workers it's one per 50. Tell your account manager when the crew grows so the count keeps pace.
Weekly service is standard. The driver pumps the tank, cleans and sanitizes the inside, and restocks paper and hand sanitizer. Large crews, humid summer stretches, and multi-day events often need a second visit. Your account manager can build a schedule around your busiest days.
No. A unit on your own driveway, yard, or fenced job site in Bridgeport needs no City permit. You will need approval if the unit sits on a street, a sidewalk, or in a park, or if it's part of an event on City property. Your account manager can help you start that.
A standard unit is a compact stall with a toilet, a urinal, and hand sanitizer. An accessible unit is wider, sits level with the ground for a roll-in entry, and adds grab bars and turning space for a wheelchair. Events open to the public should always include at least one.
Weekend rentals use the same three-day basis as the ranges above, so a standard unit averages $199–$349 for one day or three. A deluxe flushing unit runs $300–$400, and a handwashing station adds $150–$250. Your account manager will confirm drop-off and pickup times with you.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We'll size the order, set the cleaning schedule, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
