Home Areas We Service Alabama Porta Potty Rental Huntsville, Alabama 35810

At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across Huntsville, Alabama, and the Madison County communities around it. Aerospace and defense construction, subdivisions going up on every side of town, road and utility crews, downtown concerts and festival events, ball tournaments, and storm cleanup after a rough spring all keep portable toilets in demand here.
Your price follows the units you choose, the number you order, the length of the rental, and how often a driver comes back to clean. Below are our ranges, the counts we plan from, the City permits that cover public ground, and what it takes to get units delivered fast.
Each range covers a standard three-day rental. Short bookings are written that way, which is why a Saturday festival and a Friday to Sunday run usually come out the same.
Long jobs are priced differently. A Huntsville build that runs for months moves to a four-week cycle with a weekly cleaning visit included, and the daily cost eases once that starts.
Site access matters. A graded pad on a new subdivision street is an easy drop. A unit behind a secured gate, inside a fenced industrial site, or up on Monte Sano takes longer to reach and to service.
Then come the add-ons. Accessible units, handwashing stations beside food trucks, and extra cleaning stops for a heavy weekend each add to the total. Your account manager can break them out for you.

Any event with food vendors needs more than toilets. Alabama public health guidance tells event sponsors to give food workers restrooms with hot and cold running water and sets out a handwashing setup with warm running water, soap, paper towels, and a bucket for the dirty water. Run your numbers through our porta potty calculator, then let your account manager finish the sizing.

Pick the unit around the people using it. Every model is laid out on our porta potty options page.
The Standard Porta Potty is the workhorse for job sites and everyday gatherings. Toilet, urinal, paper holder, and hand sanitizer.
The ADA-Compliant Porta Potty is the wide unit with a ground-level entry, grab bars, and turning space for a wheelchair. Every public event should have at least one.
The Deluxe Flushing Porta Potty brings a flush and better odor control, and it changes how a wedding or a company party feels.
The Deluxe Porta Potty with Sink has a sink, soap, and mirror inside the door. Families like it, and food areas nearly need it.
The Solar Porta Potty powers its light and fan from the sun, so it fits a remote build, a trail project, or a field with no service.
The Handwashing Station is a standalone sink with clean water, soap, and towels. Set one at each food vendor.
The Restroom Trailer offers private stalls, running water, and climate control, which counts for a lot during an Alabama summer.
Your account manager can size and mix the order once they know who is coming.
A unit on your own property, whether a driveway, a back yard, or a fenced job site, needs no City permit. Public ground and public events are where Huntsville has rules, and the list of triggers is long.
Special events: The City requires a special event permit if your event includes road closures, alcohol, food vendors, other vendors or exhibitors, amplified sound, generators, temporary stages, fencing or barriers, inflatables, or artificial lighting. A permit is also required at 500 or more attendees, or when the event could affect traffic or pedestrians.
Timing: The Special Events Office sorts events into minor, basic, and enhanced. Minor permits are optional and go in 10 days ahead, basic permits 20 days ahead, and enhanced permits 30 days ahead. If you need a road closed, file no later than 30 business days before the date. Without a road closure, 10 business days is the deadline. Call the Special Events Office at 256-427-6807 with questions.
Streets and sidewalks: A street cut permit lets the holder build or obstruct a described part of the right-of-way for a stated period, and the Engineering Division can attach conditions to protect safety and keep traffic moving. That is the route for anything standing in the public way.
State highways: For work on a state right-of-way, ALDOT permits are required and every application starts in the district office.
Food vendors: Alabama requires a temporary food service permit before any food is sold at a public event, and each vendor carries its own.
City Hall sits at 305 Fountain Circle, and the main line is 256-427-5000. If you cannot tell which permit covers your spot, your account manager can point you at the right office.

Look for firm, level ground. Red clay holds water after a heavy rain, and a unit on soft ground can settle unevenly. Give the driver a straight approach and check for low limbs, gate widths, and security checkpoints on restricted sites.
Keep units 15 feet or more away from food service, and well clear of creeks, drainage ditches, and storm inlets. Alabama public health guidance is direct about liquid waste: none of it goes into streets, storm drains, or onto the ground. On a job site, place units within about 200 feet of the crew.
Weekly service is standard. We pump the tank, wash and sanitize the interior, and restock paper and sanitizer. Festival weekends, big crews, and August heat are all reasons to add visits.
Huntsville is clear about where the waste ends up. The City's Water Pollution Control division accepts hauled portable toilet waste, but only from Huntsville's sanitary sewer service area or Madison County, and only from haulers who are registered and permitted every year. Loads are discharged only after the on-duty plant operator approves them, and haulers file a state pumper license, a local business license, a county health department pumper permit, and a vehicle inspection form for every truck. Your account manager can confirm the service schedule for your site.

Most Huntsville deliveries land within 24 to 48 hours. With three to five days of notice we can usually send the exact units you want. Spring and fall are the crowded seasons, with festivals, tournaments, weddings, and heavy construction all running at once, so reserve those dates early.
Five habits that make delivery painless:

A standard unit averages $199–$349 and an accessible unit averages $200–$300. Deluxe models run $300–$400, a handwashing station is $150–$250, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Unit count, rental length, and cleaning frequency all move the total. Your account manager confirms your number during a free quote.
Plan 1 unit per 50 guests over about four hours, then add 15 to 20 percent when alcohol is served. A 500-person festival points to ten or eleven units. Long days, summer heat, and food vendors all raise that, and a public event should include accessible units and handwashing stations.
Alabama sites follow the federal rule. A crew of 20 or fewer needs at least 1 toilet, and larger crews come to 1 toilet and 1 urinal per 40 workers. Keep units close to the work so breaks stay short, and plan weekly cleaning. Your account manager can resize the order as the crew changes.
Weekly service is standard. Each visit covers pumping the tank, washing and sanitizing the interior, restocking paper and sanitizer, and checking the door and vent. Heavy use, large crews, and summer heat are good reasons to move to two or three visits. Your account manager can set that up.
No. A unit on your own yard, driveway, or fenced job site in Huntsville needs no City approval. You will need a permit once it obstructs a street, a sidewalk, or another right-of-way, and events with vendors, alcohol, or road closures need a special event permit. Your account manager can help you sort it out.
A standard unit is a narrow stall with a toilet, a urinal, and hand sanitizer. An accessible unit is wider, sits level with the ground, and adds grab bars and space for a wheelchair to turn. Public events should include one in each group of units. Units used only by a construction crew are exempt.
Weekend rentals are written as three-day rentals, so a single Saturday and a full weekend usually cost the same. Standard units average $199–$349, deluxe flushing units average $300–$400, and handwashing stations run $150–$250. Your account manager will confirm your delivery and pickup windows when you book.
Tell us about your event or project and your zip code. We will choose the units, set the cleaning schedule, and give you a clear price on the call.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager handles the details, from unit count and service schedule to permit contacts and delivery timing, so you can focus on your event or project.
