Areas We Service
At Prime Dumpster, we provide porta potty rentals across 27 Oklahoma cities, from Oklahoma City and Tulsa to Lawton, Enid, and Ardmore. Our units serve construction sites, oil field crews, weddings, county fairs, powwows, and other events, and we can bring in emergency restrooms after a tornado or ice storm knocks out power and water.
The price you'll see comes down to a few choices. The number of units, the kind of unit, the length of your rental, the cleaning schedule, and how far and how easily our truck can reach your site all count.
Below, we cover average prices, how to size your order, when Oklahoma permits come up, and the state rules that apply to food events and waste hauling.

Your quote bundles drop-off, regular cleanings, and pickup into one price. Here's what moves it: - Rental length: Weekend events are the most common short rental, and a one-day party usually costs close to a full weekend. Work sites are billed in 28-day cycles, so a six-month build gets billed month by month. - Number of units: A bigger order costs more overall. Still, too few units means long lines and tanks that fill before the next cleaning. - Service visits: On each visit, the tank is pumped out, the unit is washed down inside, and supplies are refilled. Heavy use calls for more visits, and each one adds a bit to the total. - Delivery distance and site access: A spot near a paved road is quick to reach. A lease road, a soft field after rain, or a site miles past the last town takes longer and can cost more. - Unit type and add-ons: Standard units cost the least. Deluxe units, solar units, restroom trailers, and extra handwashing stations cost more.
Two Oklahoma points can affect your plans. Remote work sites in the western half of the state sit a long way from the nearest treatment plant, and every cleaning ends with a trip there, so service can cost more out in the country. Also, food vendors at your event need a toilet close by and a place for workers to wash their hands, so a couple of handwashing stations near the food trucks is often a smart add.
Your Prime Dumpster account manager can explain each factor and help you find the best value for your dates and site.

On private property, such as your backyard, a farm, a church or school lot with permission, or a job site, a porta potty normally doesn't need a permit. Things change once a unit goes on a public street, a sidewalk, a park, or land along a highway. Then the owner of that land gets a say.
Oklahoma has no statewide porta potty permit. Here's how it breaks down by location:
A county road may cross a state highway right where you want to set up, so the exact spot decides which office you call. Your account manager can help you figure out the right contact before your delivery date.
Think about the size of your group and how long they'll be on site. These numbers will get you close: - Events: Plan 1 unit per 50 guests for about four hours. If you're serving beer or other drinks, go 15 to 20 percent higher. - Construction sites: Federal worker-safety rules set a floor of 1 toilet for a crew of up to 20 people. Bigger crews need 1 toilet and 1 urinal per 40 workers. - Accessible units: At events open to the public, include at least 1 accessible unit in each group of units, about 1 for every 20. - Emergencies: For cleanup crews after a storm, figure 1 unit for every 10 workers.
Hot summer days, all-day events, and big crowds use up tank space fast. You can get a quick estimate from our porta potty calculator, and your account manager will double-check the count.

Most Oklahoma rules for portable toilets fall into three groups: accessibility, food safety, and waste disposal. - Accessible units: Federal accessibility rules apply in every state. Where portable toilets are grouped for public use, the ADA standards require 5 percent of each group to be accessible, with at least one in every group. Units meant only for a construction crew are exempt. - Food vendors: The Oklahoma State Department of Health issues a temporary food license through county health departments for up to 14 days. It costs $50 for the first day and $25 for each day after. The state's food truck guidance says a toilet must be close by and workers need their own handwashing sink. A handwashing station next to the food area helps vendors meet that rule. - Waste disposal: The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality requires a state license for any business that pumps, hauls, or disposes of waste from chemical toilets. DEQ counts the contents of a portable toilet as septage. Its disposal fact sheet names a city wastewater treatment plant as the best place for it, because the plant gives it the most thorough treatment. - Job sites: Federal worker-safety rules require toilets for construction crews based on crew size. Put units close enough that workers don't have to walk far.
Whether you're planning a public event, hosting food vendors, or running a long job, your Prime Dumpster account manager can check which rules apply and set up your units to match.

A standard porta potty averages $199–$349 per unit, and an ADA-compliant unit runs $200–$300. Deluxe units average $300–$400, and restroom trailers start at $1,500. Your total depends on how many units you order, how long you keep them, and how often they're cleaned. Your account manager confirms the price in a free quote.
A good starting point is 1 unit per 50 guests for an event of about four hours. Add 15 to 20 percent if alcohol is served. Plan extra units or another cleaning for all-day events and hot weather, and include at least one accessible unit if the public is coming.
Usually not on private property. ODOT doesn't allow anything on state highway right-of-way, so keep units on private land near a highway. City streets, sidewalks, and parks need city approval, and county roads fall to the county. Events often need a city permit too. Your account manager can help you find the right office.
A typical rental gets one service visit per week. The crew pumps the tank, cleans the unit, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Big events, large crews, and summer heat may call for more visits. Your account manager will set a schedule that fits how much your units get used.
If the public will use your units, yes. Federal accessibility standards call for about 5 percent of each group of portable toilets to be accessible, and never fewer than one. Units used only by a construction crew are exempt, though many sites add one anyway. Your account manager can help you plan the mix.
A few days' notice is usually enough for a work site, and we can often deliver within 24 to 48 hours. For weddings, festivals, and football weekends, book several weeks out. Food trucks at a big public event also need to notify health officials at least 10 days ahead.
