Most remodeling and cleanout debris is fine for your container. The limits come from Oklahoma's landfill rules and from the Ponca City Landfill itself.
Oklahoma's solid waste rules, set by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, bar hazardous waste, radioactive waste, and PCB waste from every landfill in the state. Regulated medical waste is kept out too. Loose, crumbly asbestos can only go to a landfill that holds a permit to take it.
Standard dumpsters also can't take liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, or asbestos of any kind. The City asks residents to store poisons, antifreeze, and shop chemicals until its Household Hazardous Waste Day, which is held every other year.
The landfill keeps its own list of prohibited materials. It isn't posted online, so the City asks you to call the landfill at 580-767-0417 for a copy. Tires are accepted but charged per piece, so list them when you book.
