These are the things that move a Yukon dumpster price up or down.
The container size is the base. Bigger dumpsters cost more, but choosing one that's too small can leave you paying for a second haul.
The debris counts as much as the size. Shingles, concrete, and wet yard waste are heavy and use up your weight allowance quickly. Appliances with Freon, TVs, and tires need special handling, so bring them up when you book.
Hauling it yourself has a price, too. Yukon residents get one free trip a month to the City's transfer station for a level pickup load. After that, the Transfer Station charges $10 for a car or pickup load and $25 to $45 for a trailer, so a big project gets expensive in repeat trips.
The City's curbside bulk pickup is limited as well. It runs only a few weeks a year, caps each home at 4 cubic yards, and won't take roofing, loose sheetrock, concrete, or dirt. For a remodel or roof job, a dumpster is the simpler route.
