Most debris from building, remodeling, and cleanouts can go in. A few categories can't.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, oil, batteries, and asbestos all stay out of a standard dumpster. Eagle has a set place for household chemicals. A mobile household hazardous waste collection unit comes to the Ballantyne Park and Ride, 1890 W. State St., on the second Wednesday of January, April, July, and October, from noon to 7 p.m., according to the City's trash services page.
Tires need a separate plan. The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality says landfills must process tires to reduce their volume before burying them, and it tells residents to check with their local landfill about whether tires are accepted and any limits.
Appliances, mattresses, and bulky items should also be mentioned when you book so we can plan for them.
