Most household and building debris is fine for your dumpster. The limits come from Arkansas rules and from what the county landfill accepts.
Arkansas doesn't allow whole tires in landfills unless they're shredded or split first. The state funds tire recycling with a fee charged when you buy tires, which the Department of Finance and Administration sets at $3.00 per new tire. Saline County residents can drop off up to four passenger tires a month for free, off the rim.
Electronics are allowed for now. The Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality says the state has the authority to ban e-waste from landfills but hasn't done so, so household electronics can go out with other trash unless a landfill says otherwise.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, motor oil, propane tanks, car batteries, and asbestos can't go in a standard dumpster.
If you're unsure about something, ask your account manager before tossing it.
