San Luis hasn't adopted a separate set of street and sidewalk rules in its City code, so there's no posted dumpster permit or fee. That doesn't mean a container can go anywhere. Two City offices handle work in public spaces, and it's worth calling before you plan a street drop.

Most construction and household debris is fine to load. Arizona law and the landfill set the limits.
Arizona doesn't allow waste tires to be buried in landfills or burned, with only narrow exceptions for shredded tires. Keep tires out of your dumpster. Yuma County's new transfer station in Somerton takes waste tires from county residents.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos aren't allowed in a standard dumpster either. Propane tanks, spray cans, and car batteries need their own drop-off. The City's own trash rules list paint, spray cans, gasoline, and oil as hazardous waste, and they don't belong in a roll-off.
