Most household and construction debris is fine to load. The limits come from Pennsylvania's rules and from what the receiving landfill will accept.
Hazardous waste is out of every container. That means liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos, plus pool chemicals, pesticides, and cleaning products. Asbestos deserves special care in older Altoona houses, since pipe wrap and some floor tile can contain it, and that work belongs with a certified contractor rather than in a container.
Electronics have their own route in Pennsylvania. The state's electronics recycling law covers desktop and laptop computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, and televisions with a screen four inches or larger, and those go to a collection program rather than into household waste. Pull them out before pickup day.
Tires, batteries, and appliances holding refrigerant also need separate handling, so call them out when you book rather than after the container is full.
If something in the pile has you second guessing, ask your account manager before it goes in. It is a quick call, and it beats having a load turned back.
