The 11th Street center sits near the entrance of the closed landfill and is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center at 4214 Fulton Mill Road is open Thursday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The one at 1520 Ninadel Drive opens Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. They take household trash, furniture, tires, yard debris, and building material, but not roofing or insulation.
Full dumpster loads are a different matter. With the County landfill closed, roll-off debris from Macon goes to privately run, permitted landfills in Middle Georgia. Your account manager will confirm where your load is going and explain the disposal costs before delivery.
