Ordinary remodel and cleanout debris is welcome. The limits come from Virginia's disposal rules and from what the county transfer station will take at the scale.
Hazardous waste, liquids, fuel, solvents, wet paint, and asbestos are out of every standard container. The county runs its own paint program for leftovers, so set those cans aside instead of loading them.
Virginia has a rule for tires. A landfill may only bury tires that have been split, cut, or shredded first, which is why whole tires are handled and billed separately at the transfer station. Whole tires larger than 46 inches across are refused outright.
Appliances that hold Freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners, are also billed one by one rather than by weight. Pull them out of the container plan and list them when you book.
If an item leaves you guessing, your account manager can check it before you load it.
