Most remodeling and construction debris can go in your container. The limits come from Louisiana's landfill rules and from what the receiving landfill accepts.
The construction landfill in Carencro won't take household trash, food waste, carpet and padding, couches, or recliners. It also refuses refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners, water heaters, tires, and lawnmowers. Asbestos, creosote, hazardous waste, liquid waste, and wet paint are banned too.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, and fuel don't belong in any standard dumpster. Car batteries, gas cylinders, and household chemicals need special handling as well.
Trees are accepted, but trunks thicker than six inches are not. If you have a big cleanout mixed with remodel debris, mention it when you book so we can plan where each load goes.
When you aren't sure about something, ask your account manager before you load it.
