The 15-Yard Dumpster is good for a garage cleanout, a basement tear-out, or a roof on a small home.

Magna doesn't run its own engineering department. The Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District provides that service for Magna and several other west side and canyon communities. Its Engineering Division issues right-of-way, encroachment, and excavation permits.

Utah bars landfills from taking free liquids, large containers of liquid, and wet sludge. It also keeps hazardous waste and anything with PCBs out of landfills. Whole tires are banned from Utah landfills too, with a few narrow exceptions, so keep them out of your container.
The usual exclusions apply as well: no hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, or asbestos.
The Salt Lake Valley Landfill adds its own rules. It won't take solar panels or battery systems at all, and it points people to a recycler instead. Paint, paint thinner, computers, and TVs go through its household hazardous waste facility, and only from residents. Mattresses and Freon appliances are charged per piece.
