Most building debris and household junk is fine to load. The limits follow Ohio's landfill rules and what the receiving site will accept.
The City's own trash service turns away tires, batteries, car and truck parts, paint, oil, fluorescent bulbs, gas cans, and propane tanks. It also refuses hazardous waste, flammable liquids, and anything banned from a municipal landfill. Those same items should stay out of your dumpster.
Asbestos, solvents, and fuel can't go in a standard dumpster either. Appliances with Freon need special handling, so mention them when you book.
Summit ReWorks, the county's solid waste authority, can point you to drop-off options for household chemicals and electronics.
If you're unsure about an item, ask your account manager before you load it.
