Most household and construction debris can go in your container. Ohio's landfill rules and the receiving facility set the limits.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos can't go in a standard dumpster. Lead-acid batteries, tires, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs, and appliances that still hold refrigerant need separate handling, so set them aside.
If an appliance goes to the Montgomery County facility, non-residents of that county pay a Freon removal fee of $25 per appliance. Mention any appliances or tires when you book so we can plan for them.
For your regular trash, the City's contracted curbside service provides a 90-gallon refuse container and a 65-gallon recycling container. Mattresses and other large items are picked up only by appointment, so a remodel or big cleanout is usually easier with a dumpster.
