Asbestos needs a permit before removal. The county sends asbestos questions to the Olympic Region Clean Air Agency at 360-539-7610, and asbestos must be prepared and labeled before the county will take it, so it can't ride along in a regular dumpster.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, and fuel can't go in a standard dumpster either.
