Most home and construction debris is fine. The main limits come from Minnesota's rules on what can go in the trash and in landfills.
Minnesota doesn't allow refrigerators, washers, stoves, and other major appliances in the trash or a landfill. TVs and monitors with old picture tubes also can't go in the trash. Tires can't be buried in a landfill. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency also bans leaves, grass, brush, and other yard waste from landfills.
On top of those, leave out hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos.
Carver County takes household hazardous waste, batteries, and most electronics at no charge at its Environmental Center in Chaska. Appliances, TVs, and tires are accepted there for a fee.
