In the Twin Cities metro, Minnesota keeps yard waste like leaves, grass, and brush out of the regular trash, so it needs to go to composting instead. Lead acid batteries, such as car batteries, can't be thrown away with mixed trash. Waste tires can't be buried in a landfill either.
Standard exclusions apply too. Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos don't belong in a dumpster, and neither do propane tanks.
The self-service drop-off in Anoka adds its own limits. It no longer takes bricks, concrete, dirt, sand, or rocks, so heavy masonry debris needs another destination. Tell us about it when you book.
