Most construction and cleanout debris is fine to load. What's off limits comes from Texas rules that apply to every municipal landfill, including the one in Corsicana.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality keeps these items out of municipal landfills: lead-acid batteries, motor oil from home oil changes, used oil filters, whole tires, and appliances holding CFC refrigerant, such as fridges, freezers, and window air conditioners. Liquid waste, regulated hazardous waste, PCBs, and radioactive material are banned as well.
Whole tires are the one people trip over. Texas allows tire pieces in a landfill once they're split, quartered, or shredded, but whole tires need to go elsewhere.
Paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos don't belong in a standard dumpster either. Set those aside, and tell us about any appliances before we deliver.
When an item has you second guessing, your account manager can confirm it before it goes in.
