Most remodeling and cleanout debris is fine to load. The limits come from New Jersey's disposal rules and from what the landfill accepts.
New Jersey keeps electronics out of the trash. The state's Department of Environmental Protection bars many types of electronic waste from landfills and incinerators. The Pennsauken landfill turns away TVs of every kind, computer monitors, desktops, laptops, and computer parts, so pull them out before you load.
Hazardous waste can't go in either. That covers paint, solvents, pesticides, fuel, motor oil, and automotive fluids, along with liquids and asbestos. Camden County holds household hazardous waste collection events during the year. Call the county's Division of Environmental Affairs at 856-858-5241 for dates.
Long pieces need prep, too. The landfill asks for plywood, wood fencing, and similar items to be cut down to size.
If you're not sure whether something belongs in the container, check with your account manager first.
