Most household junk and remodel debris is fine to load. New Jersey's disposal rules and the county's waste plan set the limits.
New Jersey bans throwing away computers, monitors, laptops, and TVs as regular trash. Those go to electronics recycling instead. Whole tires should stay out as well, since the state steers them toward recycling.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, solvents, fuel, and asbestos never belong in a standard dumpster. That includes pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, and motor oil.
Rahway also keeps household electronics and large metal appliances out of curbside trash, so plan to handle those separately. Mention any appliances when you book.
