The 15-Yard Dumpster covers garage cleanouts, flooring tear-outs, and smaller roofing jobs. It's a comfortable step up when a 10-yard feels tight.

For that, the City of Irvine issues a Right of Way and Encroachment Permit. You apply by email to ROWPermit@cityofirvine.org with the application form, a location map, your City business license, and proof of insurance. City staff review the request and send a payment link for the fees.
The permit comes with strict conditions. The roadway must be clear and fully open to traffic at the end of each day, and by 3 p.m. on major arterial roads. On local streets, work runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, with nothing on Sundays or federal holidays. California keeps a long list of household items out of the trash. CalRecycle's banned items list includes all batteries, fluorescent tubes, paint, solvents, pesticides, antifreeze, motor oil and filters, and tires. It also covers asbestos, propane tanks and other gas cylinders, and treated wood such as old fence posts and decking.
Electronics are banned from the trash too. TVs, monitors, laptops, printers, microwaves, and cell phones need to go to e-waste recycling instead of your dumpster.
As always, hazardous waste, liquids, and fuel stay out. The county runs household hazardous waste collection centers for chemicals, paint, and batteries.
Treated wood is a special case. Bowerman takes it only through a separate commercial process, so it can't ride along in a mixed load. If you're pulling out an old deck or fence, tell your account manager so they can plan for it.
